Keeping the local post office in Stinson Beach, while creating six new homes.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about the proposal for 108 Arenal Avenue.

As the new owners of this property, we recognize how important this centrally-located site is to Stinson Beach. Our goal is to thoughtfully redevelop it in a way that serves the community while respecting the character of the area.

Our proposal would replace the deteriorating commercial building currently on the site with a small-scale, mixed-income residential project and a new long-term home for the Stinson Beach Post Office.

A Long-Term Home for Post Office
The Stinson Beach Post Office is an essential service for residents, but its current lease is set to expire in 2027. The existing building and its infrastructure, including the septic system, are failing and cannot support a long-term lease renewal. A redevelopment plan is necessary to bring the property up to modern standards, including installation of a new septic system.

Our goal is to use this redevelopment as an opportunity to secure the post office’s future in Stinson Beach. The proposal includes a new, modern post office facility equal in size to the existing space, designed to provide long-term stability in a central and accessible location along Shoreline Highway, adjacent to the library.

Mixed-Income Housing
Stinson Beach has long faced challenges in maintaining housing opportunities for people across income levels. This project proposes a limited number of new homes designed to fit within the scale of the neighborhood while helping meet local housing needs.

  • 6 total homes in a small, infill setting

  • 2 homes reserved as affordable housing (1 moderate-income, 1 low-income)

  • 4 market-rate homes

This balanced approach allows the project to deliver community-serving infrastructure, preserve an essential local service, and provide much-needed housing. You can review our complete application here.
